Tenuta San Lorenzo Gavi
 750ml, $16.99
/
The wine is fresh and vibrant, showing lots of white peach, lemon pith, sage, and flinty minerality. Classic and delicious.
When pairing wine with tomatoes, it must be remembered that tomatoes are quite acidic. This necessitates a wine with a very bright palate, in wine speak, a little tart. Try some of these wines with some panzanella or bruschetta or your favorite fresh tomato dish.
Chiarlo Barbera D'asti

Garnet in color, this wine is medium bodied and robust with rich, ripe cherries and earth on the nose, and an elegant palate. Pairs well with chicken scallopini or grilled red meats.

This wine is made from pure Falanghina from very old vines located 400 meters (1,310 feet) above sea level with volcanic soil mixed with gray tuff, cinder and black pumice stone. A lovely, easy-drinking wine with intense fruity and floral aromas, nuanced tropical fruit and white peach. Crisp and refreshing, it is meant to be enjoyed in its youth, ideally in the first two years.

This is really very good indeed, an instant hit! Incredibly well balanced. Full bodied but so, so easy to drink. Its kind of a bit Pinot Noiry but fuller, more voluptuous.
